Perfect overnight stop Following a warm welcome, I was able to settle down in my room to do some work using the free wifi. I didn’t arrive until the evening and left in the morning, so I can’t really comment about the local area, although a passing glance it looked lovely. The breakfast was great, lots to choose and all cooked to order. Thanks Kathleen. John J (March 2013)
Really nice guest house wonderful host. Mark H (March 2013)

Lovely house Lovely house in an interesting village. I will go back as I was staying for business and would like to see more of the area. Eddie S (March 2014)
Little Gem B&B Is a little gem in this very pretty sea side village. The owner is very motherly and go’s out of her way to make sure you are happy, I will definitely advise a stay here. P Christophers ( July 2014)
Friendly, spotless and great breakfast Just stayed for one night as i was working in Macduff – I found it easily, in the most quaint setting. The lady was very friendly and everything was spotless
“Highly recommended” Friendly, cosy atmosphere. Quiet, undisturbed night’s sleep in a comfy bed with lovely fresh linen. Delicious breakfast chosen from a large selection the previous night. Welcoming hostess who provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.
“Neat Little Town”The B&B is right next to the only pub in town. Great couple who runs it. It is a nice town to walk around in, and larger towns just 10 minutes away. Our hostess was great, Very accommodating.
Fantastic Place This is a great place to stay! Kathleen could not have been more friendly or helpful. Our rooms (2) were clean and very comfortable. There was no trouble connecting to WiFi. Breakfast was wonderful. There was a tiny bit of noise at night coming from the hotel next door but not enough to really disturb us. Kathleen is a fantastic photographer and showed us some of her work. I brought home a fantastic, framed picture of Gardenstown. I would recommend her B&B and a look at her photographs as well. I recently came back from a 3 night stay at Kathleen’s and have to say it was fantastic, I travel all over the UK for work and there is not a better feeling to have a cosy bed to sleep in after a long journey. My room was very clean and tidy and there was no noise at all during the night.
What makes the B&B such a great experience is also the location, when you drive into Gardenstown you just get hit with beauty and a great feel of village life.
I will be making another trip to Kathleen;s over the summer months for a weekend break with my wife. Derek Adams – Stayed April 2013, travelled on business
